I am a Professor of Printmaking, I joined the faculty of the University of Missouri - St. Louis in 1998. Before that time I served as Education Director of Tamarind Institute from 1988 to 1998, The Ohio State University from 1985-1988 and in 1981 directed the Quensen Lithographic Studio in Lamspringe, Germany. I received my B.F.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and my M.F.A. from Arizona State University.

 

I have have presented over 60 lectures and workshops throughout the world.  My prints and mixed media artworks have been exhibited in over 20 solo exhibitions, including exhibitions at the Art Institute, Aguascalientes, Mexico; Sala Negro,EL Instituto Chileno Nortreamericano, Santiago, Chile; the Schmidt Art Center, Belleville, IL: Gallery KO 25, Hanover,Germany: C.D. H., Hanover Germany; Burke Gallery, Marshall University, Huntington, WV; and the Frans Masereel Centrum, Kasterlee, Belgium. He has also participated in over 200 group exhibitions including the Lalit Kala Academy, Madras, India; the Cecille R. Hunt Gallery, Webster University, St. Louis, MO:  Haggar Gallery, University of Dallas, Dallas, TX: Steinberg Gallery of Art, Washington University, St. Louis, MO: Lauren Rogers Museum of Art, Laurel MS: the Knoxville Museum of Art, Knoxville, TN: Grunwald Center for the Arts, University of California, Los Angeles: as well as many others.

My work is represented in numerous public and corporate collections, including the Milwaukee Art Museum, Milwaukee, Wisconsin:  Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, MO; Bibliotheque Nationale de France, Paris, France, and the Smithsonian National Museum of Art, Washington DC.
